Depending on the venue and theme of the wedding, whether it’s a black-tie event or a beach wedding, your look as a guest can certainly elevate the theme. With summer just around the corner, here are 5 great wedding guest makeup looks to inspire you!   #1 Pretty In Pink This wedding guest makeup look is so subtle, beautiful and complements any outfit. Starting with the base, use a hydrating moisturiser with SPF and primer, then select a dewy foundation to create a luminous finish. For more tips on getting your base to glow without looking oily, check out our glowing makeup look tutorial. For the eyes, choose a light shade of pink to go all over the lid and you can warm up the creases with warm browns or deep pinks. Applying a hint of glitter in the inner corner will make your eyes appear wider and more awake. Finish off the look with either liquid liner along the upper lash line and some natural false lashes. To match the eye look you can choose a baby pink lip gloss to hydrate the lips and make them look naturally plump.     View this post on Instagram   A post shared by @twidalehairandmakeup #2 Soft Smokey Glam This look is so stunning and draws all the focus to the eyes. It works perfectly on every eye shape, even those that don’t have a lot of lid space to get creative with colour. Firstly, it’s important to get your base looking picture perfect for the big occasion by making you sure choose a good primer, foundation and concealer combination that will last the entire wedding. To give yourself the appearance of a sun-kissed tan, go in with a contour to define the face and a bronzer to add warmth where the sun would naturally hit. To achieve this brown smokey eye look, an eyeshadow primer is a must to make sure the pigment adheres well to the eye. Go in with a darker brown eyeshadow shade and apply it to your lid. Blend it out up to your crease with a slightly lighter shade. For that extra bit of sparkle, apply a soft gold or silver shimmer shadow to the inner corners of your eye. Define the eyes with a black or dark brown liquid liner along the lash line and a pencil liner along the waterline for a smudgy, smokey look. Finish with false lashes and you’re ready to go! For the brows and lips, we love a bold thickened brow with the glossy lip. You can use the same shimmer shade in your inner eye to highlight the high points of your face and tie it all together.     View this post on Instagram   A post shared by @twidalehairandmakeup #3 Summer Sunset To finish off this list, we had to end with a more dramatic look perfect for evening receptions. This wedding guest makeup look uses a combination of pink and gold shadow shades to add a summery pop! The lips are still glossy to keep in line with the trend this year, however you can use a matte nude liquid lip underneath to bring out the pink hues from the eyes. An eye primer or concealer will make the colours pop with this look. Use a combination of pinks and peachy-coral shades through the crease and outer corner of the eye. To avoid muddying up the eye look, be sure to blend the crease out with a fluffy blush. For the lid, keep it shimmery with champagne or gold glitter shadow and apply it all over the lid and the inner corner. You can either keep the eye look quite soft and blend it the shadow into the crease, or you can try your hand at a bold cut crease. Finish with a line of liquid eyeliner on the top lash line and false lashes and you’re wedding-day ready. You can use a pink or burnt orange blush on top of the cheekbones to add warmth to the face.     View this post on Instagram   A post shared by @twidalehairandmakeup   Get Your Wedding Guest Makeup Look Done At Twidale If you’ve loved any of these looks on our wedding guest makeup look list for this summer, come in to get a makeup and hair trial with the team here at Twidale.
