From Linda Evangelista’s iconic “we don’t wake up for less than $10,000 a day” to Kate Moss’s androgynous look, the 90s supermodels defined an era of fashion and beauty. Their iconic runway looks, defined by bold makeup and a myriad of trends, have made a comeback in recent years, and we can’t get enough of them. Here are five retro cool 90s supermodel makeup looks that we love – and how to recreate them.   Brick Brown Lips Cindy Crawford. To recreate this look, start by lining your lips with a lip liner that matches your chosen lipstick. Then, apply your lipstick with a brush or straight from the tube. Finish off with a clear or matching lip gloss for added shine, or keep it matte for a true 90s vibe. We love Mac lipstick in Paramount or Marrakesh.   Cindy Crawford. This 90s supermodel makeup look is all about creating a smudged and smoky effect around the eyes. To recreate this look, start by applying a heavily pigmented eyeshadow to your eyelids in grey, brown or black tones. Then, use a smudger brush or your finger to smudge the shadow along your lower lash line. Alternatively, you could use an eyeliner pencil in a similar colour. Finish off with a coat of mascara and bold, dark eyeliner.   Naomi Campbell & Kate Moss. To recreate this look, start by applying a neutral or light-coloured eyeshadow to your eyelids. Then, apply a bright powder blush to the apples of your cheeks, blending well – think bright pink or orange. Start light, building up colour and sweeping from the apples of your cheeks in an upward motion towards the tops of your ears. Finish off with a coat of mascara and a neutral or light lip colour.   Glitter Eyes Glitter was a big trend in the 90s, and it’s making a comeback in a big way thanks to tv shows like Euphoria. The bold and colourful eye makeup worn by the characters on the show, often featuring glitter and rhinestones, has inspired many to experiment with similar looks in their own beauty routines. This look is all about adding a smear of sparkle – to your cheekbones, your eyes and your decolletage! To modernise this look, we suggest you start by applying a neutral or light-coloured eyeshadow to your eyelids. Then, use a small brush to apply glitter to your eyelids, lower lash line, and inner corner of your eyes. Not sure about coating your entire eyelid in glitter? Apply a line of glittery liner close to the lash line – we love Urban Decay’s Heavy Metal Glitter Eyeliner. The key to faking this 90s supermodel makeup trend? Sculpting rather than plucking to create the appearance of a skinny brow, a la Bella Hadid. To recreate this look, brush brows in the direction of the hair follicle, trimming any wayward hairs. Cover any extra hair you don’t want to be seen with concealer above and below the brow, then using a brow pencil in a similar colour to your hair, draw a thin line along the brow line. Then, use a brow gel or wax to shape and set your eyebrows.   Bella Hadid. Credit: Getty Images   Ready To Try These 90s Supermodel Makeup Looks?
